A purchase request alone does not resolve a shortage. Review the confirmed supply date, usable stock, work-centre availability and required inspections before releasing the job.
Plan the material requirement
Start with bills of materials and manufacturing orders from Growth. Premier adds material planning to compare demand with what needs to be bought or made.
Check capacity before committing
Scale adds production steps and work centres. Premier adds production scheduling and capacity planning. Include known machine downtime, such as a planned service, when reviewing whether a proposed start is realistic.
Keep inspection with production
Scale includes inspection plans and lot/serial recall tracing. Review the checks on materials and finished goods, and keep held items out of usable supply until the relevant review is complete.

Does it handle multi-level bills of material?
Yes. A bill can include sub-assemblies that have their own bills, and component stock is checked at every level against orders you've already promised.
Does this configuration cost extra?
There is no separate industry-configuration fee. Features such as manufacturing, advanced warehouse operations and group reporting still require the relevant subscription plan.
Can I switch this configuration later?
Review the proposed configuration changes with your team before applying them. Check permissions, workflows and plan requirements rather than treating a configuration change as a data migration.
