Who we are

This notice covers the marketing website and the waitlist. When you use Cobalt ERP to run your business, you are the controller of the records you put into it and we are your processor — that relationship is governed by the data processing agreement, not by this notice.
What we collect on this website
Waitlist and contact. If you join the waitlist or email us, we hold the name, email address and any message you send, so we can reply and tell you when Cobalt ERP opens.
Technical data. Our host records standard server logs — IP address, user agent, the page requested and the time — to serve the site and to protect it from abuse.
What we do not collect. This website sets no advertising cookies, runs no third-party trackers, and does not build a profile of you across other sites. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.
Why we are allowed to hold it
Legitimate interests for replying to an enquiry, running the waitlist, and keeping the site available and secure. We think you would expect all three, and none of it is intrusive.
Consent for product announcement emails, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link or by emailing us.
Legal obligation where we are required to keep records, for example for tax.
How long we keep it
Waitlist entries are kept until Cobalt ERP opens to you or you ask us to remove them, whichever comes first. Email correspondence is kept for [to be completed]. Server logs are kept for [to be completed].
Ask us to delete your data and we will, unless we are legally required to keep it — in which case we will tell you which obligation applies.
Who else sees it
The infrastructure and service providers listed on the sub-processors page, and no one else. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with advertisers.
Where a provider is outside the UK or EEA, the transfer relies on [to be completed].
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to processing based on legitimate interests, ask us to restrict processing, and ask for your data in a portable format.
Email support@cobalterp.com and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If we change this notice we will update the date at the top of the page, and for anything material we will tell waitlist members by email rather than changing it quietly.
