Buy, stock and sell on one ledger.
One core, or four systems you keep in step.
Cobalt ERP replaces the accounting package, the inventory app, the spreadsheet of promised dates and the shared inbox with one operational core — so a figure is looked up rather than reconstructed.
Buy, stock and sell on one ledger.
Every order, receipt and stock movement flows through the same place, so your numbers reconcile on their own — no spreadsheet forensics, and no figures quietly going missing between tools.
Four systems to keep in step, or one that cannot disagree with itself
Separate tools do not have a shared truth — they have four versions of it and somebody reconciling them. Cobalt ERP has one record that every part of the business writes to as it happens.

Same event. Different reality. On the left a person joins four systems together and the join is only as good as the day they last did it. On the right there is nothing to join, because a stock movement and its ledger posting are the same event.
Sell
Quotes, sales orders and invoicing — quote to cash without re-keying a thing. Customer price lists apply automatically, and confirming an order reserves the stock.
Buy
Purchase orders, receiving and supplier invoices, three-way matched as goods land. What you owe reflects what actually arrived.
Stock
Live availability across every location, with every movement tracked automatically — receipts, picks, transfers, adjustments and returns.
Control
Approvals, a full audit trail and reports, so nothing moves without a record of who admitted it and why.
The modules, and what each one carries.
- Sales — quotes, sales orders, customer price lists, stock reservation, approvals, invoicing and credit notes.
- Purchasing — requisitions, purchase orders, supplier confirmations, goods receipts, supplier invoices and three-way match.
- Stock — multi-location availability, bins, batches, serials, transfers, adjustments, stocktakes and movement history.
- Warehouse — picking, packing, dispatch, proof of delivery and put-away, with the paperwork raised from the order rather than typed again.
- Delivery — multi-drop runs, vehicles, drivers and route sequencing, with proof captured against the order.
- Finance — the ledger every other module posts to, with bank reconciliation, VAT and period close. See Finance Core.
- People — staff records, roles, permissions and approval thresholds.
- Portals — customer and supplier self-service, so orders and documents arrive without an email thread.
- Intelligence — the reasoning layer inside every record. See Intelligence Core.
The reconciliation problem disappears when there is nothing to reconcile.
Most small operations run three or four tools that each hold a partial copy of the truth — an accounting package, an inventory app, a spreadsheet of promised dates, and a shared inbox. Every figure that matters is a join across them, done by hand.
No integration drift
Nothing is synced between systems, so nothing can be out of sync. A stock movement and its ledger posting are the same event.
Answers in one hop
“What can we promise this customer?” reads live stock, committed demand and the agreed terms in one place, rather than three exports.
One bill, not four
One subscription covers the operation. See pricing for the like-for-like comparison against a stitched-together stack.

Frequently asked questions.
Is Cobalt ERP a full ERP or an inventory app?
A full operational ERP. It covers sales, purchasing, stock, warehouse, delivery, people and the ledger on one core, rather than covering stock and expecting an accounting package to carry the rest.
Do I have to use every module?
No. Switch on what you need. An industry pack sets which areas light up by default, and you can change it later without starting again.
Can it run more than one company?
Yes. Launch and Growth cover one legal company, Scale up to five and Premier up to ten. Enterprise plans are configurable.
Does it work with my accountant?
Yes. Cobalt ERP produces VAT-ready invoices and clean exports for Xero, QuickBooks and Sage. See accountant handoff.
How long does it take to go live?
Under a week for most teams, without consultants. The Setup Agent reads your existing data and proposes the configuration rather than handing you a blank system.
